MGM Grand is home to Las
Vegas' hottest nightclub, Studio 54, featuring
state-of-the-art sound, video and lighting, live dancers,
wall walkers and chart-topping dance music. Voted "Best
Dance Club" for 2000 and 2001 by the Las Vegas Review
Journal, the 22,000-square-foot nightclub offers four dance
floors and bars, an exclusive area on the second floor for
invited guests, and several semi-private lounges capable of
accommodating up to 400 people. In celebration of the
original Studio 54, the nightclub features a gallery of
black and white celebrity photographs taken by paparazzo
Felice Quinto at New York City's original Studio 54, which
defined '70s pop culture with its eclectic artwork, dramatic
fashion and stylish attitude.
Studio 54 periodically hosts
special events, including Prince (January 1-2, 1999 and May
30, 1999 during his CD release parties and another surprise
appearance on December 10, 2000), Julio Iglesias, Jr. and
megastar Elton John during the club's grand opening in
February 1998. The nightclub functioned as a playhouse to
the stars on March 2, 2001 during Hugh Hefner's 75th
birthday bash.
Tuesdays are EDEN nights at
Studio 54. Erotically Delicious Entertainers Night includes
complimentary admissions for those in the Las Vegas
entertainment industry as well as live radio remotes with
the hottest Disc Jockeys from KISS FM. Dance to the
progressive electronic music spun by Studio 54's own DJ
Frankie of NYC and DJ Jose2Hype or tune in to KISS 101.9.
The doors of the legendary
Studio open nightly at 10 p.m Tuesday through Saturday. All
guests must be 21 years of age for admittance and a dress
code is enforced. Please refrain from wearing baggy jeans,
