The
Mirage Hotel after all these years is still a
place to see.
The
waterfall in front of the Mirage is not all
that it seems. Nightly after dark and running
every 15 minutes until midnight, the waters
stop flowing. Moments later, spectators are
amazed to watch "lava" and real fire
blasting high into the air. The heat is so
intense that it can be felt from the opposite
side of Las Vegas Boulevard. The free
attraction is one of the "must-see"
sights of Las Vegas.
